Guess who is home from BYU Idaho!! ALI! We are glad to have her home from school. We as a team babysat for Tara & Ben while they were away on an Anniversary trip to St. John in the Caribbean. It was one of the hardest things we have done together. My age is definitely catching up with me. There is a reason these babies are called 'Grand'. Ali said she had never been on such a schedule, early rise between 5:30 and 6:00 am, bottle feeding, changing diapers (these boys can mess up a diaper), breakfast, Sesame Street, walks around the neighborhood, going to the splash park, lunches, naps (which were our time to regroup!), snacks, backyard fun with the gym set, slip & slid and baby pool. As you know the list goes on and on into the night. I ask myself, "How does Tara do this?" and the answer is that you mothers out there are YOUNG and are use to the demanding calling of being a Mother. Our week is over and bitter sweet. Tara and Ben were able to come home to find their boys happy and intact - no major injuries or trips to the hospital - Although Ali and I are still recovering. No worries, we will be back to our oldselves in a few days and will want to see these babies probably - tomorrow.......

Good Afternoon to m y Peeps and Lurkers! My parents left this morning to return to the Farm in Georgia. I have been sad in their departure. During their visit we had Max all to ourselves for a couple of days. In the evenings we sat outside, played in the grass and visited with our good neighbors. Max loves to play like he is a baby. I swaddle him up in his purple banty (blanket) and scoop him up into my arms and we rock back and forth, mind you his body is totally limp because he is a newborn baby. I then proceed to lean him forward and he buurrrrrrrrrrrps, just like a newborn baby!! LOL
He is also swept up in 'Going on a Bear Hunt'! It is amazing how these little games we had played with our own children are able to surface from our memory bank, now that is a miracle.

Life is great

Life is great! My parents are up from Georgia for a visit along with Tara and the boys. The past three days have been actioned packed. Max calls my Dad - G Daddy. It is funny to hear because it reminds me of some sort of Rapper's name. We have cleaned sweeped our garage and basement and Tara wanted to get into Ali's room in the worst way. If you didn't know by now Clean Sweep on TLC is one of her favs. She wants to go into business as a professional organizer. She was tough. I had to throw away a lot of things that I normally would not have if she wasn't there to say, "Now are you honoring this by keeping it in a box?" She is a natural dirt devil. Here are a few pix of our week.

Laugh Out Loud

It is another rainy day here in Northeast Ohio. It makes the grass green but your mind crazy! I have sub come to the world of blogging and have resisted for a long time. So please you blogging fools, do not disappoint! I am mostly known as Tara' mom or Ali's mom or Max's Gaga and I will probably be known as Seth's Gaga too. Oh, and let's not forget Roger's honey or sweetie. In middle Georgia I am know as Hazel and Billy's girl or daughter and in southeast Georgia I am known as Gigi's sister'n law. Do I have an identity issue? From setting up this blog I have been informed to let loose, let it out, voice the opinion, post those pictures, journal your journeys, share mouth watering receipes, respond to tags and inform your readers. I have been told that the pages can be saved and printed and viewed as documentation of one's life for posterity. Who wouldv'e thunk? So, here I am. Don 't be scared to view my blog with an open mind and curiousity. I will not judge those who visit without comment. Just peep if you want and laugh out loud!
